Since 2009, Silverton School has endured $750,000 in budget cuts. Through this difficult financial time, we have done everything possible to not just sustain, but to grow the educational opportunities that we can offer.

Donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated and will help us to grow, buy new equipment, fund field work, and increase student access to technology and the greater world outside of Silverton.

Your generous donations are tax deductible and we will be happy to supply you with a receipt for your gift.

Monetary Donations

We graciously accept cash and check donations and will happily supply you with a receipt for your tax deductible gift.

Classroom Donations

Parents and community  members are always welcome to spend time in our classrooms, whether it is a one time appearance or a weekly reading group. Please feel free to contact our teachers to see if you can contribute to a classroom expedition.

Everyday Donations

There are a variety of ways to donate to via box tops, labels, and shopping at specific stores.

Box Tops

How It Works:  Once a year, box tops are collected from every classroom, counted and sent in.  We get 10 cents or more for each box top.  No cost to you.

To Participate:  Collect “box top” labels from packaging and send to school with your child or children. Have friends and family save their box tops.

Office Depot

How It Works: At Office Depot checkout, let the cashier know you would like a percentage of your purchase to go to Silverton School. They will do the rest. No cost to you.

To Participate: Shop at Office Depot. Let them know you would like their donation to go to our school. Silverton School gets up to 5% of your total purchase price.Tell your family members and friends to mention Silverton School at check out. Can your business order office products from Office Depot and indicate Silverton as their school of choice?

Target REDcard

How It Works: Every time you pay for your purchases at Target with a Target REDcard and have designated Silverton as your school of choice, we receive 1% of purchases at Target or Target.com and .5% of purchases every time you use your Target Visa Credit Card anywhere Visa credit cards are accepted. No cost to you.

To Participate: Sign up for a Target REDcard, which can be either a credit card or a check card. If you already have a Target REDcard, go to www.target.com/tcoe and click “enroll now.” Enter “Silverton, CO” and “Silverton School.” Once you select Silverton, enter your name and Target REDcard number. If you don’t have a Target REDcard, apply on-line or at check out. You receive 10% off your purchase the day you apply. Ask friends or family members who use a Target REDcard to designate Silverton as their school of choice.
