Big Mountain Skiing and Snowboarding
During the winter months Silverton School takes advantage of the snow and mountains surrounding us. On Friday afternoons students are able to go skiing and snowboarding just for fun or as part as the Silverton School Ski Team. This program is a part of our PE curriculum. All students are expected to participate. Elementary students head to the local ski runs while the middle and high school students travel to Durango Mountain Resort, located halfway between Silverton and Durango.
